The clients for this project are Gail and Cary, a recently retired couple renovating their Red Hook apartment. They wanted the space to showcase their collected ephemera, have a studio space for their art practices, and be a place to host parties. Maggie, taking inspiration from Vanessa Bell paintings and images of 1970s residences in the Chelsea Hotel, designed this cozy and colorful home for the two to share.
